 Actors And Comics.

Aaaaaagggghhh!! is all I feel right now, as I now need to find some more voice actors as the ones I had can't make it on time for whatever reason. I'm getting so desperate for actors I'm considering giving one of the roles to Kobayashi ...er, I mean Puni Puni Poemy! ha ha!
I woulld also like to take this oppotunity to say My radio show is just a laugh (when it airs) As cheesy as it sounds,  I'm trying to say "Just be yourself... (unless you are acting in something, where being yourself won't look quite right) I hope that all listeners will enjoy it and have a very good sense of humour, and if they don't, they can always listen to radio stoke signal, 1, 2 etc or switch it off and go and watch a DVD, watch TV, Play on the computer or read a book.

I am hoping that my other comics will be turned into a radio drama, get permissions of those people to release the comic I was originally going to release ( I did say that I would involve these people as they did help me out so much, and for that, I am eternaly grateful ). eventually  I will release them as comic. I can also release some really cool concept art and additional pictures that are involved with the stories. I think that doing the radio show and releasing the comics will be great as I will be reaching a variety of audience. Those who don't Listen to the radio who read comics and visa versa. At the moment I am not being paid but would like to be in the future.

I actually started to do some re-editing on my comic ,well, the first page at least and a few more to re-edit. If all goes well, the pages will be on my website. keep in mind that the pages read like the traditional manga comics, which is right to left. I had to change the characters because I couldn't get the likeness rights from my friends. Although, saying that, it might of turned out better as it allows me to be a bit more creative. I think that all my friends are great, as a lot of them have helped me out alot. Each one has multiple talents and abilities as well as great advise and are unique, as in, they don't follow everyone else and do their own thing. Most importantly they have  their own personalities and are all individual, this is great as alot of people are afraid to be themselves as they fear that they may lose their friends. If friends can't accept you for the person you are, then they're not really friends. because we're all into a variety of things such as music, art, films, games and education so there's always something to talk about when I greet people.

I have actually started some work on script that will be a comic at some point (theres more jokes that work with the comic) . It's going to become a radio show at the moment. I have had to change the characters names and for the comics, change the apperance. I have had a word with the actors and still waiting for the response to see if anyone is interested in playing the roles for the characters. Once the voices are done, sound effects and music will be added afterward.

This week I have had work done on my right eye. The world is so much bolder now. It is sore at the moment as it was only Thursday I had it done. I see more depth and perception than I did before. It's like going from your PS2 or Xbox to a 360 or PS3. The doctors and nurses won't believe how much of a difference it has made to my world. Speaking of, and I'm not just saying this, but the staff at Hartshill hospital were very nice to me. This was my very first operation (I think) and they guided me through my operation step by step. It was more concern with the anaesthetic than anything, you know that contradictive phrase " You should be fine but there's always a small risk of death" yikes! They even took care with me as I was comin around. I'm hoping once the eye heals I'll be able to concentrate more and increase the quality of my drawings. 

For all those who have been visiting the site so far i hope everyone, recent and new, have been enjoying this site. Ive seen avatar 3D...twice.
I really like the film, with or without 3D,it's beautiful. There is a morolistic
story in there and is done in a cool way. The sound is fantastic, it has a chillout sound to it. The action is intence and in some parts are quite moving. To be honest, it's one of those films that's hard to describe,not because it's a bad film, it's one of those films that you would need to see for yourself to appreciate it.

As for the Avatar blues whats that all about? people becoming depressed
after seeing the film? It's not because it's a depressing film, it's because their world is so beautiful that when people come back to reality people realise "oh my god, our world is crap!...".

After seeing all that forest, the Na'vi people caring for their world and each other. In our world, we have lots and lots of concrete and lots and lots of crime and disrespectful people.
As sad and cheesy as it sounds, we can have that sort of life. To get that sort of life, we have to start with ourselves. we can't stop pollution but we can help bring it down.

Think of it this way, when rubbish burns or rots and you can smell it, it's entering your body and as it does what kind of bacteria are you breathing in? And what illnessess are they linked to? One way we can deal with this is not to let the trash build up and clean up but don't be constant as this makes bacteria resistant to bleaches and detergents.


As for People, lets try and at least try to get on and develope friendship lets try not to discriminate. Let people choose who they want to be. whether some guy wants to wear a pink shirt or a dress or whether someone wants to choose to be a goth, rocker, skater, emo
punk or choose their sexuality it's up to them. As long as they' re not hurting no one, why should those people get picked on or hurt just because someone doesn't like them?
If people try to get on with those types and more they may be surprised to what new interests that they will learn. Sometime people just want to be excepted for who they are. People who act vulnerable or weak may be having difficulties as they don't know how to deal with life or debt due to upbringing or are having family issues and just need someone to help. Some things to remember are if you are going to help are as in a friendship, makes sure that you are not the one who is always giving food, money and cigarettes etc. Don't put yourself out of pocket some people can use vulnerability and guilt against you. Friendship should be a 50/50 thing.Also you can only do so much for people, advise them to go places like Arch housing for housing and homelessness, Changes for mental health issues Adsis for alcohol issues and Citizen Advise Beaureu for debt money and law issues etc. 

In Naruto Series 4:1 The town, Leaf Village is invaded by Orochimaru's clan ,after a major fall out and battle the village is left in a disaster area.  it is thanks to the villagers' effort that they restore the village to more or less the way it was. Even kids were doing their bit for their village. One thing is the people respect their village and respect the Hokage who died to save it.
What I'm trying to say is,if we try to get on and look after the town and build it back up ourselves with the help of each other, we don't have to wait for the counsil  for six months or so to repair it. It may be only just a fantasy but why not work with the counsil to speeds thing up. It's our town we should be proud of where we live. If not, what makes you think "its crap where I live"? how can you make your area more habitable?, I'm talking about the area, if it's the people you don't like, what's the problem with them? Have you considered they may have mental health problems e.g depression anxiety Bi polar etc  they could have had or are having family, relation or life issues how could you get on with the people to make it more liveable. also remember folks revenge ends in nothing, whereas forgiveness opens doorways and paths.

 

First I like to say a massive thank you to those who have been visiting and revisiting the sight so far. 
This week I'm going to be talking about censorship, many people will have a fair amount of opinions about it.

Like it or hate it the fact is we need it. If we didn't have it, there would be a hell of a lot more inappropriate or vile thing things that we wouldn't like to see.
Up until now I think that  the censors have become alot more linient on todays films. Sex scenes are longer and  violent content has increased and  the age ratings are lowered  18 to 15  and then 15 to 12. Soon you can expect to see increased violence and sex in family films.

I know it sounds like I'm complaining but a lot of content is cut from anime. Apparently in america they have Bleach Uncut, so what have we got over here half a product? If people are paying through the nose shouldn't they at least get their moneys worth? Those who have the Naruto DVDs watch it in japanese (except season 3:1, dubtitling arrgh! why?!...) it's a lot funnier the voice acting's better and more believeable... 

Something else got me thinking, if games are becoming increasingly detailed and life like, will it put the eqiverlents of ELSPA out of a job as games are becoming film like and the BBCFC deal with that sort of thing.
If you understand film ratings but don't understand game rating here it is in rough; 
3+ means everyone can play even children and there won't be any content.
7+ means there maybe some mild violence or some chilling action
12+ may contain moderate violence, mild to moderate language mild sex innuendo references and mild  blood . 
16+ can contain strong language, stong sex references, drug references bloody scenes and action as well as scaryness
18+ Speaks for itself very aldult orientated could contain very: strong language, sex, horror, torture and drug references.
Most adult games and films are very unsuitable for children as most don't know the difference between fiction and reality, don't understand what is legal and what is not, give them ideas or could be for what ever reason mentally unstable. 
If you have ever been confused by why some games have two age ratings eg BBFC rate it say, 15 and ELSPA rate it 18. it's because of the Full Motion Video (movie) is rated 15 while game play is rated 18.

For all those that have visited, I really appreciate that you are liking my artwork and as you guys and girls now know, I am literally into a bit of everything. so please keep revisiting this site and if there is any piece of art that you would like to see on a poster, cup, keyring or cup please tell me. all possibilities considered.

I know that I keep saying that the comics are coming but the issue I am having at the moment, is likeness rights (using the image of a real person).
Part of the problem is getting the modeller to sign it especially if the modellers lives in various places makes it a bit harder as you need to find them. 

I know that some modellers have agreed by word of mouth, but it needs to be in writing, and because  of my current situation, means that the modeller won't get anything for it.

The other problem is I'm doing various stories about my friends due to them helping me out when I was going through some serious difficulties (i'm not talking about debt) and then I had nothing to give back in return. So,I decided to show how much I appreciate their help, I wrote a comic about them.
Although the stories feature them, they are completely fictional.

The last issue is, only if I have to, change the image so the comics can get out there and on to here and once the permission is given, a weekly radio show, with fictional names of course, may be in the pipe line. I'm enjoying the experience and with anything comes problems and when we  overcome these problems we learn and as we learn  we proceed and as we proceed we succeed. anything else I'll keep you posted. 

Hey thanks to everyone who visited my website. This week I'm talking about my favourite films.

I think that Silent Hill is one of the best game-to-film movies ever as it keeps very close to the games. If you own or rent the DVD check out the special features and I'm sure you'll be very surprised at what went into it eg the scene with the giant blade wasn't CGI!

The story starts with Sharon having nightmares about the town of Silent Hill. So Rose decides to take her daughter to the town to get some answers.
Unfortunately, Rose has a car accident and wakes to find her daughter's missing (like Harry and Cheryl frm SH1)

And on the quest she goes to find her daughter, meets some spooked out characters, has some battles with monsters to its climatical ending.

What I love about this movie is they have pretty much all the elements of the games the fog,the characters, the music, monsters etc they've even used an old film effect during flash backs.

What I hate is when people diss this film, mainly film critics, who may have never played the game (how will they really understand a game based film if they haven't sat down to see what it's all about?) or have very little time, not slept well, or been rushed, for films like this. 

I am a  Very big SH fan and if it was that bad, I would have literally cried, but I left the cinema with a smile in my heart. I also bought the DVD.

The only thing I find strange is that Dahlia Gillespis' too tame, she needs to be more deranged like in the game. I want to see another Silent Hill film made I am also looking for the Project Zero film to be made. I know that it's in the process, but heard very little about it.
